Exploring Zen Practice through Poetry

Join the Oxbow Zen Community for an afternoon of learning and discovery! All are welcome! No prior experience with Zen or Poetry is needed. Just bring your open mind! There is no fee for this event. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Jane Hirshfield, American Poet — Zen Practice in Seven Words
You are warmly invited to participate in this afternoon workshop. In an environment of meditative inquiry, we’ll be exploring Zen practice through Poetry in community.
Seating is limited, so please register now at this Google Form.
When: Sunday March 29, 2026, 1 – 3 PM
Where: Oxbow Zendo, First Churches, 24 Center Street, Northampton. Please enter the church building through the door behind the small garden (see the image below). Somebody will be at this door to direct you to the space. Please note: to access the Zendo, there are two steep flights of stairs and no elevator.
